Dear editor,
Thank you, Greene County, for your continued and overwhelming support of Relay for Life. So many have been touched by cancer and this is the best way for us to remember, celebrate and fight back every year.
Thanks to all who attended and participated. Thanks for the enthusiastic fundraising teams. Thanks to the numerous business and organization sponsors and those who donated to the silent auction. We hope we have expressed to you personally our appreciation.
This year I also want to publicly thank the leadership team of over 30 people who dedicate their time and talents to make this event happen. We have added new members who brought new ideas along with the experienced crew. Many don’t necessarily have the time, but they definitely have the heart. There is nothing like working together for a great cause. We also welcome those interested in getting involved.
Finally, there is still time to make donations to Relay for Life of Greene County for 2015. When you see research conducted by the American Cancer Society, you are a part of that!
